My
apologies for the delay on getting this months Ride Of The Month posted.
Seems to be the season of server problems. Hey it’s a budget site. Our cars
break down, my hosting company is allowed a "problem every now and then. Now
that I can upload stuff here it is!!!!!

Ever been riding or
driving through a camp site or out in the dunes and a super clean car
catches you eye? No? You liar!!! This Car caught my eye out in the dunes,
then luckily I found it again in the Washes at Glamis.

Kevin from Riverside
Ca is the owner of this 90's fugitive looking thing. Not that it’s a "thing
as in any ole thing. "Thing as in he thinks it may be a fugitive frame. I’m
still not too good at identifying frames. You be the judge. If you figure it
out please let me know.

This car is powered by
a very clean 2180. And for some reason I was again surprised to find Kevin
also runs a type 1 transmission.

From the time I got
into duning and rails I heard horror stories about type 1 trannys and their
ability to, how should I put it? Not last too long? But before I had a
chance to grab pix of the clean trans connected to the clean motor the shock
mounts caught my eye.

Something I have never
seen before. OK something I haven’t NOTICED before. I think I’d remember
this attachment to the trailing arms in a catalog somewhere. I haven’t have
you? I think it’s a pretty good idea, and clean.

Did I mention I
thought this was a clean rail? Clean wiring.

Clean passenger area.

Also in this shot you
can see fab work done to get more travel out of the front end.

A nice touch to this
rail are the Harbor Freight HID’s They sell those?

Kevin also equipped
his car with a sturdy rack and pinion. I would have gotten a closer set of
pictures of the front end but Kevin was itching to get back out to the
virgin sand that weekend. Thanks thought Kevin for letting it stand still
long enough for me to get these pictures and specs on the car. Did I mention
it was clean?
